High Temperature Silicone Rubber

High Temperature Silicone Rubber is used in a wide variety of industries because it is generally non-reactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments, stresses and high temperatures. Importantly for industries that require a product that can be used in extreme conditions, it can be made to operate in a consistent manner from −60°C to +300°C and will maintain its many properties.

High Temperature Silicone Rubber’s mechanical properties include

  • tensile strength
  • elongation
  • tear strength
  • compression set

Silicone Rubber can be used in extreme temperatures, making it superior to conventional organic rubbers. High Temperature Silicone Rubber isn’t susceptible to ozone, UV, heat and other ageing. This makes high temperature silicone rubber the most suitable for many applications and industries. Being a product that is highly inert means it doesn’t react with most chemicals or the environment.
